1959 Silverhawk

I know this is a lost cause,but I thought there is no reason not to be curious. In September 1972,my grandpa had to sell his hawk do to a rusted and buckled A-arm. My grandparents drove it from Massachusetts and it failed and was sold in Dunkirk New York.[V] It had a 259 2 barrel with a 3 speed auto. Trans. It was blue-green in color with a replacement green and white tuck and roll interior.
That is all I know about the car and I was curious if anyone knew what happened to it.[B)]

Good luck in your search, but in that part of NY (with MA rust already started), a Studebaker sold for regular use 36 years ago would have probably rusted away to scrap within a couple of years. There is some small possibility that the car was stored away or sold to someone from another location or moved with its owner to another location. The car's serial number, like from an old registration or sales order, would be a big assist in your search.
