  • There was a gathering of Studes in Iowa today

Really nice weather for a drive. So a bunch of us decided to get together and have a "gathering". Here's the link for pics...(hope it works)
http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v1...8_08170018.jpg If not, then we'll have to resort to "plan B".

In addition but not shown was a Chebbie-powered Lark with 2-4bbl carbs, a black supercharged 4sp Avanti, and an interesting variety of various pieces of Detroit history just sitting around collecting dust.

Thank for the pics. Is that green 2dr. sedan a 51 or 52? Whatever it is, it is very nice.

The way it was explained to me Leonard, is that it started out as a 51 Commander and "various parts were added" along the way. It really does look nice though...much nicer in person than in the pics.

Just couldn't see the "50 bucks" just for the priviledge to show my car. I was there though most of Thursday evening and a good part of Friday, watching as they came in to register.....didn't cost me a dime either....even had the Stude there, heh, heh, heh.
