      I'm already building one of those! But that one is a '57, isn't it?

      And MINE has a "JT" R1 motor, not a SBC!

        It's a 1958 Scotsman Allan, same, same though! It just has the flat roof, no fender vent doors and the special casting Scotsman only silver painted taillight housings to accept '58 Champion Sedan round tail lenses instead of oval '57 type. Not visible in the pic is the '58 Scotsman only, square eggcrate, genuine silver PAINTED grill! It is pretty obvious that Studebaker went all out to make either the lightest fastest 101 H.P. 185 C.I. Champion Six RACE CAR, or the cheapest car on the planet, you choose!

          First thing I thought of when I saw that was your project, Allan

          This car was on eBay within the last several months... can't remember, but I think it bid to 7 or 8 hundred.
