I remember shopping for the best chrome deal I could get for my rusty Hawk bumper...back in 1971'ish...
Chose a place at 2000 west Lake street in Chicago under the 'L' tacks.. (pretty close to Oprah's studios today)..
A wonderful, pristeen near west side neighborhood..in 1972(?)..
Anyways, the gentlemen of colour had not seen a Stude in quite a while and they did not mind cutting the bumper bolts off (I didn't have a torch[B)])
I was shocked at how much chrome cost!
Imagine.... $40 to rechrome a bumper!
      Man-o-man... I am getting older...
