DANA 44 REARENDS

I get many questions answered on this web site and the answers are greatly appreciated.
I hope I am not pushing the envelope, since this is for a Studebaker hotrod
Can someone tell me if the Dana 44 in a 72-75 Jeep CJ5 is the same as in a Jeep DJ series? I.E. OVERALL DIMENSIONS

DJ Jeep is a 2wd.....CJ a 4WD....... They are Dana 44 though(72-75)
