  • Adding a little Studebaker flavour to the Parade

Each year my local town, like many others, holds a summer festival and parade. This year, I was asked to participate by transporting the Festival Society's Mascot and the Mayor in my Transtar.
A good opportunity to expose the good people of my community to Studebakers and answer lots of Studebaker related questions. [8D]
'Course, "Mr. Green Jeans" is a good ambassador.
All in all, a good day! [^]

The mayor is the fellow on the right...

Yes it is!! [:0] You have a connection?[?][8)] Interesting enough, the fellow playing the part of the dinosaur had an uncle who operated a Studebaker-Packard dealership in the 1950's, though he could not remember the dealership name. [:I]

Mark, I wonder if Gary read the sign on the side of your truck...

Old Stude trucks and parades go hand in hand. Here's mine back at Christmas time with a bed full of kids. [8D]

Good show, Mark. Your truck is certainly a credible example of a nice Studebaker hauler. BP
