  • Lambo doors for your Stude!

I needed a laugh this morning, and got it:

I'm trying to picture a Lark with the doors straight up in the air[)] There's a photoshop challenge[8D]

    It gets even better...

This is one of those generic auto-listers; the company has fits-all products that are plugged into a program that links them with any car out there... go to the "select make" area and see all the cars they've "designed" products for; many I've never even heard of!

I went to the lambo kit and put in 62 Stude Lark; brought me to their store page, where they list- for my Lark- the following:

    Lambo kit
    Power window kit
    Power door lock kit
    Push-button start
    Hi-def power antenna
    3-point seat belts
    Even a flame thrower kit!

And all specifically for a 62 Lark... I know I believe it They offer a universal power window kit for 30 bucks less, but I'd pay the extra 30 to be sure I have the right kit that's carefully engineered for a 62 Lark

If you want this stuff, they say, why take a chance? Buy the best

I love their math. Retail price is something like $800+! Ebay price is $.01, a saving of 51%!

When the scissor door thing was going full swing, I was surpised that no one showed up in the magazines with a Lambo-doored '53, or Avanti.

As long as its not a Lambo Door Avanti that throws flames. Something
about a fiberglass car throwing fire that sounds ill-conceived.

I am working on some universal kits to fit Studebaker, or anything else, that will hinge the door at the bottom/rocker panel. It will open via RC on your key fob much like a pickup tailgate, and the door will also serve as a ramp. This will be a real winner for Handicapped access to cars. Not Really. Just Made this one up. Forget I even mentioned it.

Don't need flame throwers added to an Avanti, Studebaker provided it as original-equipment, unfortunately however, at the wrong end.
