[)]Bud? Hmmm..I like it. Good truck name. But you're going to have to ditch those white wall tires. Trucks get severely depressed when forced to wear white walls.<g>[)]

"Bud" should be at his new home by now. I'll leave the details fro John to post (he's probably sacked out now catching up on much missed sleep)[8D].
Anyhow, he left his home at O Dark Early yesterday morning, drove his honking big Dodge Ram diesel and 30' gooseneck to Martinsburg (WV) where he met Larry Merhaut (unsuspecting volunteer helper[}]) and me at the old Lowe's parking lot. We headed south at a little after 8:30, stopped about 15 miles short of Bud's location and had lunch then went on to Bud's home. Numerous "challenges" were met and overcome in the somewhere around 105-degree heat. Everything was finally loaded and secured about 8:30 pm and we headed north (talk about a "fragrant" truck cab[:I]). John got us to the Lowes lot a little after 1 am, I was home at 2 am after dropping Larry off to face his possibly angry wife. I was shot, but had to get a shower before my wife smelled me a couple rooms away. Got to bed at 2:30am.
I have some pix of the process, but I'll wait for John to post before putting on here.

Good to hear, Paul! I knew it would be a challenging trip, but the truth is I envy you all, hard work included. I must admit I did feel a pang of regret that Gord and me weren't the ones getting it, but the ultimate goal was met- which was to get Norris some fast money, while getting the truck into a loving owner's hands; and JB's just the guy for that[^]

Good work Paul, good buy John, and thanks to the Truck Forum, where John saw it and took action. Good deal!!

Another FUN Studebaker adventure! Say HI to Larry for me, Paul. I remember him, his wife and Bud as well, from your Route 66 trip.

Hey guy's I'm out of time, I just put a post on Truck Talk if you want to read and look at pics. I'm still a little new to this site, and I don't know how to post pics yet. My internet at home is down so I will have to wait to post here. Hopefully tommarow.
