I finally got a chance to play with my champ today. I had put oil in the cyl. last fall after I brought it home (259). I pulled the front clip and freed the engine up, cranked it a lot then put in plugs, a coil, hot wired it and primed it. It fired right off. I filled the carb (non-original 2 jet rochester) and tried again. It idled, albiet with a miss. It seemed to smooth out but with no coolant I was satisfied just to hear it run. A good day.

I'm so impressed with people that can manage more than one Stude project at a time and actually make progress because my one project keeps me plenty busy!
