Just got back from the shop. Gave the '56 Champ a bath and drove it down the road. First time it's been driven in a while. Once I parked it and got back in the Scotsman PU, it REALLY seemed like I was actually driving an old truck! I've gotten used to the rough ride of the truck, and compared to that big boat of a Champion (which handles and drives like a dream) I noticed quite a bit of difference in the way the truck is compared to the car. And too, the Champ sounds SO much better, with dual exhaust coming off that 185 flat head 6 runnin' through a couple of glass packs.
