I don't believe any of these '50/'51s are the cars in question~ the car I keep seeing appears to be a four door...
But you only have a split second to see it, so look fast!!!

I read an article once, don't know where, the Andy G's open wheel raceing team took an Avanti to one of the NASCAR races in '62 and came in 4th. They even lead the race afew times but Andy's pit crew wasn't not very fast. They aways lost several postions. Has anyone else seen this article?

You do have to look quickly, and yes, I think it's a four door too.
Really caught my eye tho! Hopefully the commercal will be re-run in future races.

I also had trouble postin photos but preservered. Try this:

Go to <www.flickr.com>, enroll and post up your photos to the flickr site.
Right click on the photo you want to add to this forum and select"new page"
for the photo. It should appear in the upper left corner of an otherwise blank page.
Highlight the URL, ALL of it, eg. http://www.xxxxxx and SAVE.
Now when you submit a new topic, click on the yellow ikon in the Format bar
and get: [img][/img]. Now click between the center brackets and see a blinking
cursor there. Now PASTE and the saved photo will be added to your post.
Click on Preview to verify its there.
                Good Luck

Bob Coolridge might be of some help. He is a Studebaker racing guru. Try his website http://www.studebakerracing.com/ He has lots of pictures of early Studebakers in stock car races.

I saw it too and think it was a 4 door but you only saw it for a second.
