        Thanks for that! Being a Diesel fan myself, I've always toyed with the idea of building a Stude diesel car of some sort. I have a 73 Mercedes Diesel 5 spd in a rusted out body that's waiting for the right car...

              There is one that I am aware of that resides less than 20 miles from Paul Johnson (53k). I think that I first saw the car around 1974/75 at a local show in Harrisonburg, Va. Here are a couple of pictures.

                neat i never knew they made a diesel car. must not have been many made. looks like the same engine i had in a old massey tractor

                  Very possible, as Massey bought Perkins in January of 1959.
