  • Cusstom '50 Champion

Stopped by a friend's place this morning. I'd sold him a '50 Champion 2dr some months ago and he's been busy makin' a cusstom out of it. He'd been askin' what sorta WS wiper setup it had as none of the original WS wiper stuff was there - not one piece.
Well, I'd found a pair of original wiper shafts with the cables still intact and I wanted him to have them to work with. So I delivered them and got a chance to see what he's done so far.

He's basically slid an S-10 under it and is gonna use the S-10's V6 drivetrain as well. I'll post some photos of it and the Ford-powered M5 of his later.

I promised some pix of the 50 Champion and the M5 that my friend has. Here they are.

The M5 uses a Ford 351 for motivation.

I love it when someone takes a 'parts car' and turns it into something nice. Good on the owner/builder. [^] Looks like the car's on its way to really being something. [8D]
