  • Shiny white buck teeth

I couldn't stand it, so I detailed behind the grille, and then painted the grille white. Looks a little better now, and I can somewhat see what the truck will look like when done.

P.S. Sorry for the title of this thread, Mark.

Looks like someone tried to kick it's teeth out and missed and dented the hood!

Not to worry. I've got a bumper coming from Biggsie, and a decent hood waiting to be painted. [^]

No worries Matt! That's one sharp lookin' Scotty now. [] But you definitely need the Transtar bumper to complete the look. [^]

Matt, have been down the same road after my son rearranged the front end of a 56 E12 I owned. When we were done putting it back together it was a good as new and so will yours. What's dpne to date really looks great and I know there are many people her who have helped you along with parts and advice. Good work!!!

Just a matter of personal preference, but I think it would look a bit better (smoother) with an earlier hood without the indentation, or if that was the only hood I had to work with, I'd undertake the the metalwork to fill it in and smooth it off, ("nose" it in custom parlance)
No offense intended Mark, on a restoration like the one that appears in your post, I wouldn't change a thing.

Looks like a fun project, keep up the goood work. Now, for the shiney white teeth , the left premolar( headlight area on one front on picture ) has a little calculue and tarter to be removed, that baby needs to floss more!

Well Matthew, I see that you have gone over to the modified/custom side.

True, but to make up for it, I did go to the 'good' old parts house here in town, and ordered a gallon of 'correct' 1959 Studebaker Omaha Orange paint. [^]

I never take offence at things like that Jessie, "Taste" (what looks good to a person) is always a matter of personal choice. [8D] That is a good thing otherwise we'd all be driving identical vehicles and that would be boring!
