  • Rare mat (pic)

Would it be safe to say this is a rare accessory?

And the seller states there are NOS sedan delivary panels that are included...

Looks like a pretty nice car all the way around.

This moves into a question about floor mats.

I once had a 40K mile 59 Ford Galaxie 500 Townsedan that had an accessory front mat that went from door to door with the big Ford emblem on the transmission hump.

Studebaker ever make an accessory mat that went door to door in the front?

Yes they did, as I recall with a big "S" on the hump.

Found a NOS front door to door mat, rolled up in the box, in the mid eighties for a 1942. So they had them that far back.

My '63 Standard Wagonaire, the stripped fleet vehicle model, came with full rubber floor mats front and rear - no carpet.

Where are they listed? I looked at the online sale brochure (7 pages) but didn't see it.

Not really looking to buy one right now, just curious what one could be bought for. Over the last 6 months or so I've bid on one repeatedly, always reserve not met- probably 4 or 5 times...

I bought a carpet that looks pretty decent in mine... but someday I might take one of these mats.

They have had them on ebay almost every month for a while. Sometimes meets reserve, sometimes not. I think around $125 or near there is what he wants.
