  • Studebaker Touring Car Height

Would anyone be able to tell me, fairly closely, the height of an early 1920s Studebaker touring car with the top up? I believe the high point would be towards the back of the top. Thanks

If you like, I can measure my '22 Light Six Touring. But I would think that Special Six and Big Six, might be different. Just a guess, as I don't really know what the others are, and if there is a difference between years. Can you be more specific, on year and model?

If it's not too much trouble, George, that would be great. I'm looking at a '22 Special Six and just wanted an idea for clearance purposes (and please everyone, I already know I can always put the top down).

The maximum height of my 1922 Light Six Touring is 74". This is actually at the top of the 2nd bow from the back, not the back one as expected.
          Hope this helps.
If you want, next week is the ASC Tour in Findley, Ohio. Perhaps one will be there to measure an actual Special Six. Or if not one there, perhaps at the ASC/SDC National Meet, the following week.
Let me know, if you want the actual 1922 Special Six measurement.

Thanks George. This helps. I don't think I'll need any better measurement. Enjoy the tour and meet!

So are you saying it WILL fit in your garage?
