  • Buttercup's progress

It's been a while since I made a progress report on Buttercup.
He hasn't gotten much attention lately but we've been working on the rear quarters for the past couple of weeks.
We got all the bumps, scratches, wrinkles and creases ironed out and skim coated them with plastic. Then we put on a heavy coat of Z Chrome (https://www.amazon.com/Clausen-Z-Chr.../dp/B076NSG8V6) filler primer. Now to block sand them and see what imperfections show up. Remember, Buttercup is going to be BLACK. Much more prep work for a black paint job.

Progress is always cool. I like black, but wasn't brave enough try it on my first job.

Thanks for the update. It is always encouraging to see what others are doing.

They look very good Jerry! Good to see you're still making progress, slow but sure, just like me. Have fun doing it, Bill.
