here's a view of the fin and color scheme. I already bought the california-legal paint, so not much chance of going back!

Nice side shot, however it was a cloudy day.

I have a original Shadowtone Red car as well but she needs a bit of work !
I also make the air deflector that seals between the top panel and the hood that was introduced half way into production to help direct air through the radiator than over it .

Interesting story of my car's maiden voyage. Less than 3 miles on the road and it overheated. I snapped the pic while I was waiting for the tow. Outer armrest weren't even installed yet.

it's been a productive few weekends. dropped the body on the frame and doing some panel fitting before starting in on the rust repair and body work as the car was in boxes when I got it, and there were signs of a good whack to the passenger side door pillar.

It presently looks like a good start to a 1953 Starliner. You sure can tell its roots.

Jeff, I made a mould off an original, I can make a 100 of them! Ha.
SI still list the factory brackets which are fitted in this photo.
I might start making the noses but it may be a wasted effort, not enough call for those.

Brian, I'll take an air deflector. I've got #326, and it didn't appear to have one - only discovered now that I'm piecing it together.

how many noses would you have to make to make it worth your time? mine has a lot of repair work - as I'm sure many others do.
