    Yes, the first ’64 Avanti has a higher S/N than this car. I used example (1) because the seats look like the early ’64 seats—just that. Other things in that interior may not be original to that car. For example, the single-color vac-press gauge wasn’t adopted until S/N R-5183. The wood-grain dash & console panels were adopted on S/N R-4730, so those are correct for R-4787. This car may have been ordered with the 813BKV option, which provided a mostly-64 interior on a ’63 Avanti. This option became available sometime during the ’63 model year, but only in black.
