      Well I've got a trailer rented, garage cleaned out, and moving day is next Wed. Can't wait! One more question: Does anyone know what the stock wheel size and backspacing is for this car? Most pictures I've seen look like 15" wheels, yet I swear this car had 13s or 14s on it when I went to look. Thanks as always! -Marc.

        If the wheels are original, they will be 15 inches. All post-war Studes rode on 15's with the exception of most 1958's, which were 14.

          Thanks StudeNewby! Thanks to everyone else that has submitted help as well! You guys are awesome! The guy I'm getting the car from said what great folks the Studebaker owners are, and he was right! Going to go get the car Wednesday...just in time for 21 degree temps and more snow! Dangit!

            on the plus side.....the 6 cylinder with the 180 stat warms up quicker than the V8.....!
