That just may be the prettiest '62 Mopar I've ever seen?

Sal I apologize the single view of the car gave me no inkling that it was anything but a coupe. From the center of the top to the front bumpers, the coupe and sedan are identical. With no rear view I couldn't even have guessed that it wasn't a customized coupe. Do you have any additional pictures of the car?

Thanks for the heads up Sal, I usually don't miss these but the cable DVR is now set to record the series. He seems to be of a similar cut to Ian Roussel of Full Custom Garage.

Full Custom Garage - Texas Metal and now this. Creatively building cars without the fake issues and angst of the others, BRILLIANT!!!

Yeah.. I really dig Ian Roussel's work as well. I like what he did with the Packard sedan also. He really did a great job turning it into a beautiful swoopy custom. What these guys do with metal is remarkable. I started looking at welders and sheet metal cutters today. Not that I could ever become one of these guys, but I think I'm ready to start learning how to do some of the smaller stuff. It's gonna be a great Spring and Summer. Such is the inspiration these guys bring to the table. I've got to write a couple of notes, thanking them for thier inventive spirits.

I just snagged these off the TV. So the quality is not the best, but ya get a pretty good look at it. I'm not particularly crazy about the VW trunk, but I could see that he wanted the style of the real coupe, but did not have access to it. I still think it worked for what he was trying to accomplish, though I would have camouflaged it.

              Cool. It's got a 56 sedan/wagon instrument cluster.

I saw the show too and if I'm not mistaken there was a '39 Coupe Express there as well where he bought the car to rebuild. I wondered why he didn't go after that. I was crazy about everything he did to the car but overall it was very good and he has some talent

That CE was pretty clean too. The guy he got it from is certainly a Stude enthusiast

Since it has the front end of a Veedub, it plays right into that crusty old thing about "You can't tell which way they are going"....

If you didn't know what a vw hood looked like or a stude trunk you'd never know it is fabricated. Cool!
