They must be vintage Rent-A-Wrecks! They all have air in the tires and glass in the windows!!

That WW2 era well driller has been a landmark for many years-still in "use"!

In the line-up, all are Dodges, 1920's Fast Fours near, three '33-'34 models at the far end.

How many of you feel like me about this scene? I'd rather spend a day in this yard than a week at Disney!

                Absolutely!
I went to French Lake Auto Parts yesterday and got all the parts I wanted and was out in an hour.
That's the least time I've ever spent in a junk yard, but I have a lot to do before the snow flies again.

About a million years ago...about four of us from my high school would skip afternoon classes. We would pile into my friends 1941 Chevy coupe or my 1950 Land Cruiser and Drive thirty miles or so to Harry Flemmings junk yard on Zion Rd, in Egg Harbor Twp. NJ. We would spend many afternoons walking around his junk yard. In the back of the yard was the Prewar section. Of special interest to the owner of the 1941 Chevy as Harry had about a dozen or so of them. Harry’s is closed now, most of the cars are gone now, victims of the high scrap prices a few years ago. And of the spread of housing developments whose inhabitants complain about the junk yard in their backyard.
