  • Some Parts Dept. Trivia

Saw this on my Brit Car forum and thought that bogus part number could pass for a legitimate Stude number. Turns out Stude did use that number at one time. First one to identify it wins a smily face!

That would be an export battery (drained), all 1951-54. Actually I prefer the wiring harness smoke.

Everyone knows that if the smoke ever gets let out of a wire, the electrical current goes with it.

Did Studebaker ever offer replacement electrical wire smoke? If not, it should be reproduced.

I always knew Lucas as The Patron Saint of Darkness. Probably what kept me from owning the Triumph TR-6 I always wanted. 'Course then I ended up owning a Fiat X1/9 and learned about his Italian equivalent: Magnetti Marelli. FIAT: Fix It Again Tony. Or Fix It All the Time.
