This is a very nice, professionally written, comprehensive description of what appears to be a splendid piece of our Studebaker history. I looked under my mattress and was short a bit on the $50,000. Good luck to whoever becomes the lucky new owner.

The great thing about this hobby is the new friends you meet along the way. Ron lives nearby and I got to know him while he was building his Speedster. As the writeup notes, Ron is a craftsman that has done 27 cars but this was his first Studebaker. Any car parked next to it at a cruise in becomes invisible. This is a nice car and a nice driver.

His comment in the text about the Hialeah Green not reproducing well in the photographs was appreciated. I thought it looked a little "funny," but he addressed that in the text, because it isn't in real life. Well said.

And he's restored 27 cars since he retired? Wow; that's impressive!

        Nice car. BP
