Not sure, but I do know of a 1951 2 ton fire truck, that was the #3 motorized vehicle that the city of Westfield Indiana purchased new. The Owner now, is also a fireman in Westfield, his Father drove it when it was new (also a fireman) He has also gone to the Westfield Historical Society and has copies of the original purchase order from Westfield to Studebaker, and copies of the original purchase order to the Company that did the conversion. OH, and he also has copies of the original canceled checks! It is under restoration now, and hopes to have it back together soon. It does run and stop. Probably 90% of the body work is done, and will soon be "Fire Engine Red" again, sporting the Westfield #3 on the doors!

At one time Frank Drumheller maintained a list (as he did with the 1945 C-9's, 4 wheel drives and Scotsman trucks). I have owned 3 Studebaker fire trucks and still have 2 (but both can be bought).

taxis and police cars are under the fleet registry which is vacant at this time . Want to do another registry besides the one you have . I don't think there will be too to many left , shouldn't take much of your time up . Let me know . Old Fart Terry not4u@nlis.ca
