That car is begging for a V-8 swap.
I know the car is parked in a garage, but I find it strange how people advertise a car and don't include a picture of the front end."In the heart of Arkansas."

My first starter Stude back in '78 was a '47 Champion. so I have a special affection for flatheads. Plus I didn't grow up with Studebakers or flatheads, so it was also a past is a different country dealie with me.Originally posted by 63 R2 Hawk View PostHey, I thought EVERYBODY knew how cool flatheads are! Then you have the kissing doors, the "dimmer" under the clutch which is really a starter button, the light switch on the right of the steering column that turns instead of pulls, a split "windshield" on booth ends, three on the tree in a world of automatics, etc....1963 Champ "Stu Bludebaker"- sometimes driver
1957 Silver Hawk "Josie"- picking up the pieces after an unreliable body man let it rot for 11 years from an almost driver to a basket case
1951 Land Cruiser "Bunnie Ketcher" only 47M miles!
1951 Commander Starlight "Dale"- basket case
1947 Champion "Sally"- basket case
1941 Commander Land Cruiser "Ursula"- basket case
