The Imperial and Willys could be a study in both similarities and contrasts. Both are riffing off similar shapes while the Willys is a little bland and the Imperial is a bit too flamboyant, especially with those weird headlight pods.1963 Champ "Stu Bludebaker"- sometimes driver
1957 Silver Hawk "Josie"- picking up the pieces after an unreliable body man let it rot for 11 years from an almost driver to a basket case
1951 Land Cruiser "Bunnie Ketcher" only 47M miles!
1951 Commander Starlight "Dale"- basket case
1947 Champion "Sally"- basket case
1941 Commander Land Cruiser "Ursula"- basket case

Agree on the Soviet look. That's what my first thought was, too.Originally posted by DougHolverson View Post
Is it me or is that Brazilian Willys just frumpy enough to kinda sorta accidentally look a little bit "Soviet"?
I owned a 54 Aero Willys Lark and don't think this was/is an improvement.Skip Lackie
