Have a chance to look at a 66 Commander V/8 3sp OD I believe is a four door tomorrow. The guy says its needs a lot of work because its rusty. I was curious how many were made. I've never been much of a 65, 66 fan but my 65 v/8 3sp OD car that I used to daily drive and travel in kind of opened my eyes.

Thanks for the 66 #'s Art. Well like the old saying goes. If it sounds to good to be true, it probably is. I talked to the guy last night and posted what he told me about the car. Well, I went buy and looked at it after work. He is a non Stude guy that runs a repair shop. It was originally a 6cyl 3sp OD car Vin # C132594 Body tag S Y4 5148 There is a freshly painted possible 283 SBC 2V and 3sp OD in it now. New Exhaust front to back. The guy said he had good intentions for the car but the body is to far gone. I struck a deal with the guy because there are a few parts that I can use. Maybe some others need things. There are some good parts on it. And I agree with you Mark, learned that one years ago. And sounds like you have a nicely optioned Wagonaire there Champ.
