With 12 inches of new snow I wouldn't be able to get it out of the garage.American iron, real old school
With two tone paint, it sure is cool
Its got 8 cylinders and uses them all
With an overdrive that just won't stall
With a 4 barrel carb and dual exhausts
With 4.23 gears it can really get lost
Its got safety belts and I ain't scared
The brakes are good and the tires are fair.
Tried to sell her, but got no taker

Might come as a surprise to some, but salt can easily (!) be washed away with just water...

Drove my 64 Cruiser to work as I do every day. Glad to keep the Studebaker name visible here in SoCal.

In order to save the Banana Slug, or some similar slimy critter, Oregon doesn't use road salt except for a few areas around Potland. Slugs are my friend....!!!Originally posted by TWChamp View PostComment

It won't help much because as soon as we leave the car wash we are back on road salt, and the slop gets into every crevice on the car. It gets under bolt heads and into body seams, where it isn't easily washed away. Backed the Avanti with stuck brakes into the garage, moved the Champ and got a cover over her. That's all folks.Ron Dame
