I've seen this add before. Looks like top bow and a few parts with a serial tag so someone could build a convert out of a coupe or 4 dr. May be $500 worth of parts but not sure if you would get paid for your labor unless you planed to use the parts yourself.

I was just about to post the same ad. What has me stumped is look at the paint from the cowl rearward, and all rust forward of the cowl.
Why is there such a definite break in the paint?

That's what I was thinking, but figured a changed front clip would have gotten a new paint job.
Do the front fenders need to be changed when they installed the V8?
I don't know if the inner fenders are different.

Front clip probably has been changed. But remember, front clips are painted separate from car bodies. While there's an extreme difference on this example, (probably from a clip change) you will see many Studes in junk yards where the front clip is faded to a different stage of paint deterioration than the body.

BTW: Totally worth it for he parts. Good tinted windshield ($$$), side glass in frames, stainless above front header (HTF!). IF they'll let you salvage the parts and not have to haul the carcass home.

Nice thing about 1951 is that all the body parts (Whole bodies) are the same. They also have the same wheelbase, so it should be easy to swap parts between models.
