    Hey Studedude,

    [QUOTE]"
Have you ever smelled moth balls?"

How did you pry their little legs apart?

The question just had to be asked.

        Indeed!; and ...

"Why do moths have such small balls?"

"Because so very few of them can dance!"

Plus smelling moth balls while you work can give you a heckuva headache. Did that last week.

            Up Date :

Have just put in 4 bowls of Shaved Irish Spring and 8 bounce sheets in each car with a border of moth balls on concrete floor around cars . Will see what happens in the next little while when the temp drops .

This has worked for me, it is seriously pungent stuff. Triggers the fight or flight response in just about anything small.

It reduces the possibility, but it far from eliminates the possibility of their intrusion.

Put the mouse poison in your garage, NOT in your car. Cats have claws; they like to keep them nice and sharp. Had to replace the back seat cover after Bob got into the car by climbing thru the rear speaker hole. No cats! Irish Spring attracts mice; they like it so much they eat it! We used to set the tailwheel of the Stinson on a 5 gal pail. That worked. Best stuff is Fresh Cab. Smells nice & it works.

Something must be working . In the fresh snow there are footy prints coming out from small entrance door . Mutt brought my attention by barking at some thing under the stairs . Guess who ?? Looks like big momma was looking for a place to nest . Don't know if she was already in the garage or not , couldn't see any entrance footy prints anywhere . Don't know if it was the border of moth ball on the floor or the bounce / Irish Spring combo in the car but lets hope something is working .

Found large fist size hole in wall of garage near wife's car this morning . Also caught momma this morning in trap under wife's car but confused , trap was within 6" of two moth balls ??? I know trap works but why didn't moth balls scare her off ??

Were they the new enviormrntally safe moth balls or the original type. There is a huge difference.

Nothing beats ratax poison and a good cat or two on duty- the ratax is still strong enough to vaporize the rodent to dust so they don’t stink.
