  • Do you want to buy a Studebaker Dealership?

Here is a link to the former Studebaker dealership in Huntington, Indiana. Its a very nice building that was built in 1946 and was used thru the Studebaker Lark era.
My father bought his new 1946 Studebaker Champion here. The only drawback is there is a busy railroad at the back door.

The other drawback is that Studebakers are no longer in production.

Like all real estate - it is location, location, location. If it was near here, I would buy it just to use it for storage. Just this evening, I was looking at an ad for a residence here in Dutchess County, NY that is listed for $25,000,000.

With this one you could actually LIVE in it while restoring and storing your Studebakers in it, plus rent out another apartment!

Since I like in California the price looks like a down payment, ya it is all about location, location, that here in California would be about 2,000,000.00

Not nearly as cool a building, but the Studebaker dealer building in my hometown has been for sale for several years. The most recent listing I could find lists it at $65K, but this listing with the most pics, shows $74K. Ironically, the Studebaker dealer whose father built this building specifically as a Stude dealer in 1946, telephoned me this morning. He'll be 89 in Feb.

The desk I'm sitting at now, is the door to the Parts Dept. from that building that I bought straight out of the building, in around 2004. It has a large red ball "Studebaker Parts and Accessories" decal on it.
