A couple years ago, there WAS someone trying to transform an Avanti II into what they called the "Evanti". This was an primarily an electric drive car, supplemented with a small Biodiesel burning engine/generator. The electric drive motor was an application from a DC-9, but their effort went belly up. I never got the serial number of the car, but still have the pictures...64 GT Hawk (K7)
