  • Sweet Pea's busy Stude WeekEnd

Sweet Pea (my 295,000 mile '65 Cruiser) just returned me home from the Whatcom County SDC's monthly non-meeting held at the BP Cherry Point employee's Recreational Area. We had a pretty decent turnout as can be seen here~

Friday she brought me to the Bell's Studebaker Diner and Museum so that I might assist the Bells with a visit from a Seattle Car Club that was in town~

That car managed to bump their built-with-an R2, but-now-sports-a-dealer-installed R3 '63 Avanti off the top of my 'favorite car in the museum' list.

    Pretty cool, eh?

I can add a few more Pics of our Whatcom County Chapter Picnic Meeting at the British Petroleum (BP) Refinery's Employee Recreational Park at Cherry Point Washington.
This is where a large portion of the Arco Gas on the West Coast comes from.

Our Chapter President Tammy's Husband Tom is an Employee, so he gets us permission to enter the private and secure property.
We had a great time there and it was a nice 80 Degree Day with a mild breeze.
