    With the help of Jeff and N8 we got a 289 installed in my 51 4 door with a added DG 250 automatic. It starts and runs fine on the 6 volt battery. just moving in and out of the garage so far, but getting there.

    That's good! I am glad that you replaced the original automatic with a DG 250. That first gear start is nice. I have installed/had DG 250s behind many 259/289s and they were trouble free and nice to drive.
