Just so there's no confusion, this is for the Lancaster Meet in September! Not to be confused with the STF Dinner in York in Feb...

I almost made that mistake here, as it doesn't say that in the title, and I almost overlooked it in the OP[:I]

Gary Breakfast (late morning) at the Leola Diner was great as usual
        Don,

Since it appears there will not be a Bieler's sale this year, I may just have to make a trip down Rt. 23 to get breakfast there one morning. By the way, do do happen to know Jesse Bawell in Leola? His family had a meat processing facility at on time and made good beef jerky.

Tom and Nancy may know him. I don't but if he made beef jerky the Amish way it had to be good. I have found absolutely nothing about a FEB Bieler's sale. Even asked others on Sunday about it and everyone said I don't know. Must assume there is none.

Another good one is the late Spring and then again in the fall Gordonville Auctions. Many great draft and buggy horses are sold there along with horse drwan buggies and equipment. Mant many Amish attend this sale and there are some just great horses that change hands there.

See you in the future as I write about our past
