Having used this site many times, it just appeared to me that using a credit card for purchase, does not produce that "Secure" Website " symbol on the URL line. Is this site secure or not?

Bob, if you look at the address bar in the check out area, you'll notice a padlock appear in the bar on the checkout page, not there before you get to the " enter address etc. page" so it is secure--antiquated way of doing it. -
It may have been obvious in another way on a PC. A few months ago, bought a MAC and many things are different,

Also, with the HTTPS: (S) being the key, it is supposed to be secure.

Bob, assuming you are using Safari for your browser, click "Safari" in the upper left corner, click "Preferences", click "Advanced" and check the box for "Show full website address".Rick
