Probably PPG. But sadly, PPG is pretty much out of the glass business. Not just autoglass, but all glass. The autoglass division was sold off to investors a number of years ago and is now called PGW, but is partnered with a Chinese company. They just sold their float glass plant here in Fresno to a Mexican company. Sad. PPG used to stand for Pittsburgh Plate Glass. Now they're focusing on paint and chemicals.

(And no, I don't believe any Avanti glass is available (new production) from PPG.)

I wonder how brittle that glass must be after 50+ years. I remember how much we used to have to flex some windshields and back glass (50's GM and Ford especially & I rear glass in C&K coupes) to get it seated back in the early 60's. One could never flex even a 10 year old glass that much without breaking it back then.

If your looking for new windshields for the '64-'66 Lark types you will have a difficult time. Virtually every site listing Studebaker glass omits windshields for the last '64-'66 Lark types. Go ahead, look for yourself. I've spent tens of hours doing so. There was one vendor that people here stated would have it (sorry I don't remember their name, it was in the mid-west somewhere). I called and the woman told me, "Yes, they did have a windshield - ONE." I asked if they would be getting more and the answer was, "Not likely." So, while there may be more obscure, unknown sources out there (maybe) they are not making themselves evident to one using modern search methods.

I have plenty of good used windshields from the over 100 Studebakers I junked over the years including side glass and back windows. No 1950 one piece windshields left. Know what you are looking for.

There is a guy in Idaho that is remaking the 64-66 type wi D shields. He advertised within the last couple months inTW. I called him and he quoted a price of $300 plus shipping from Riverside CA. Said they would not be available until after the first of the2017 year.

I do not think that glass ages.
Safety glass has a plastic layer inside and the plastic goes bad.
Glass jars from 2000 years ago still good.
Rear windows are mostly tempered glass that shatters into small pieces.
