For true! Probably the way Bourke drew it before the Marketing and Management types wanted emblems and bumper guards added and the roof raised.

I agree, except that Bob wanted a Starliner (K body hardtop), not a Starlight (C body coupe).
Yes, those nice bumper guards were a compromise that only lasted one year.
