  • Reedsville 2016 Report?

Sadly, I wasn't able to make it to Reedsville this year. Can anyone here provide a report? Was the turnout good?

Dave, The turn-out was very light. I am not a regular vendor, but this year decided i had enough parts i no longer needed, that i would vend on Fri. and Sat. Friday was light foot traffic, and everyone seemed to think that Saturday morning would be better. That didn't happen from what i could see. I gathered up and was leaving the parking lot by 11:30. The surprising part to me was the lack of vendors. I didn't count, but i think there were more empty spaces inside than there were full ones. Maybe next one will be better.

I drove down Friday to meet a friend and pick up a part from an earlier swap. Ran into several friends and contacts from Ohio, Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Maryland. Nice weather, good conversation, but the vendor area did look a little sparse compared to previous years.
These cars were in the parking area while I was there, I missed a nice white GT that left before I got a picture.

Vendor turnout was lighter than usual as probably were buyers. But the vendors I spoke with indicated decent sales and, as usual, the meet had the character of a technical forum with a lot of best friends. I was working on Friday so didn't vend this year but I still have a lot of detritus scattered in my basement and garage; hope to have a spot next year.

The reports back from the AACA show in Hershey sound quite similar, perhaps a sign of the times?
