trailering from Canada to US

Has anyone done this recently and did you need special documents before traveling? I will be googling but sometimes that ends up getting one a whole bunch of "false info".

I will be trailering my Avanti to Tacoma as I am being accompanied by my significant other and she simply refuses to ride in the Avanti for whole trip. Our truck has A/C.

Call both the US & Canadian borders(as I believe you will be returning with your car) as I have heard that incoming now has to be performed with a registered official broker.

Why a broker if it’s just a tourist traveling ?

We used to travel back and forth and it was way easier if there was a group or a few spread out, all going to the same event. After seeing 3 race cars and trailers etc, in an hour, they get the picture. Just have all documents for car, truck, trailer and people and you are set.
