We were informed today that both Sheraton hotels at Westport Plaza, the site of this summer's SDC International Meet are sold out. The main Chalet building has filled 312 rooms with 600 guests. The Sheraton Plaza, a 2 minute walk across the open plaza or through the underground parking, is also filled for our generous room block.
There are, however rooms available at the Sheraton Plaza at this time at the beginning of the week, Sun-Mon-Tue, and Thursday-Friday.
It is just actually the peak day, Wednesday, that is sold out for our room block.
The alternate hotel is the Doubletree Hilton and still has rooms available at the same group rate of $115/night.
The Doubletree Hilton is across Page Avenue, less than 1 mile south of the plaza, and is also our designated location for trailer or car hauler parking.
