Maybe a dumb quest, but how do I post pictures? I have done some work on my 53 Commander, and I would like to share; especially to those new to the scene. Thanks in advance. Al.

You have a couple options: You can upload them to the site (menu bar above where you are typing) or you can host them somewhere else and connect them with a link. I do the latter because I have a little more flexibility with things. Putting in a example - host is Imgur - connecting a photo in the "huge thumbnail" selection from their site. Good luck.

I click the little "picture" in the control box (8th box from the left, 3rd icon) above where I'm typing this reply and follow the prompts. I get a full picture this way that I can size to my liking and can be made larger by the viewer instead of a tiny thumbnail that's impossible to see or enlarge. That little picture icon is typical of any forum I've used.

Rick, (bensherb), at the top of these Post Boxes I see TWO rows of Icons.
The First Row has: "Source", "Remove Format", then "Font" etc. etc. (putting the cursors on them tells you WHAT they are.) The eighth one here is "B" = Bold.
The Second Row has: "Link", "Unlink", "Image", etc. etc. The Eighth one in this Row says "Wrap".
.
.
I use the simple method, just click on "Upload Attachments", and path it to my saved Pic on my Hard drive.
So I don't know what you are saying, but I am trying to help the OP figure it out SIMPLY !
The best Size to use is "Medium", it will be average viewable size, but will enlarge THREE Times, while saving Server space.
NEVER thumbnail" size.
I have posted Hundreds of Photos here for 18 years, and over 35,000 Posts, and never heard of what you and Topper2011 are saying.Last edited by StudeRich; 03-05-2025, 01:48 PM.StudeRich

Rich, you're a lot like my dad. You have to slow down and read what it says. NOT the eighth icon; THE EIGHTH BOX, the third icon in that box. It's VERY standard and does the same thing pretty much anytime you see it on a forum. You can post a pic directly from your computer, from a hosting site or directly from the web via it.
