It seems that whenever I get near the 5000 post mark suddenly it goes down. Yesterday it showed I had 4984 posts but tonight its down to 4974! This has been going on for some years now. What gives?

Warren Webb sometimes, to free up storage space, I prune some of the oldest posts in channels like Stove Huggers from the database. The Sale/Want channel also gets pruned each month. That's what you're seeing
