  • Why do I keep getting logged out?

Up until this week, the forum almost never logged me out no matter how long I had been inactive, which usually was not more than a few days. But within the last few days, I have been logged out several times, even though I never closed the tab. Has something changed?

Mike, when you log in, are you also clicking in the box that says "Remember Me"?

Hi Paul... if I'm not mistaken, you only have to do that once so your computer will remember your login information. I did that ages ago, so now when I DO get logged out, all I have to do is click "Log In" and the fields are automatically filled in. That hasn't changed. What HAS changed is that now, after seemingly just a few minutes of inactivity, I have to log in again. I never had to do that before.

        Mike,

The place I was referring to is actually on the forum, here is a pic (see red circle).

BTW, are you going to the Tri-State Meet this weekend in Maggie Valley?

That is what I was referring to as well. The site "remembers" me...when I click "Log in or Sign up," it fills in my information.

The fact that it is logging me out is not a big deal. With two clicks I am signed back in and up to my usual browsing and shenanigans. I'm just wondering what has changed that is logging me out, and is this happening to anyone else?

In answer to your other question, Paul, yes, April and I have made our reservations and are looking forward to seeing you this coming weekend!

To answer your second question, it is not happening to me. I am tempted to suggest that you somehow inadvertently changed your settings. (That is usually what happened when something like this happens to me.)

I do that every time. And still have to type my log in information to open the Forum. Started about six months ago. Never happened before.
My computer still remembers log-ins on other sites.

...and as quickly as it started, it has now stopped. I'm back to staying logged in.
