  • The server is too busy at the moment. Please try again later.

This past week I keep getting this message when I try to get into the forum or jump to a new thread. Is there something I need to do on my end or is the server under powered?

Yep, lots of people seeing this. There are already two other threads about it. Admins are aware

I see it often too, as well as some error notice which is worded with the wierdest technical verbage I ever saw. I have attributed it to this being a niche site based on an item where interest that cannot expand, but only contract. My line of reasoning being that the site owners, in order to keep costs down, may well be renting server space with low capacity providers. Just a guess, but as plausible one as I can think of. I've come to the conclusion that posting on this site can be a trying ordeal. 200 Parseerror SyntaxError Unexpected Token is the other one.

I too have gotten the "server too busy" error lately. It usually goes away rather quickly. I have been on this site for over a decade and have not found it to be a "trying ordeal". In fact, it has been a great experience which is why I am still here. I am sure the site manager will weigh in on this problem soon.

It's gotten really bad today, at least for me. Instead of once in a while, it's been at least 50-60 percent of the time.

Patience folks, there's a technical error with the Host server remaining from the outage last week. Hopefully it will be fixed soon. No time frame at the moment. I face the same things as you all do.

Yes, it happened every few days, in the last week, until today. All day today until now 5:45 PM Pacific time. This site is my "mental health" in today's world!

Same here. I check in every day at least once and I think this is the first time this week it's stayed up long enough to make a post. Well; maybe not. now I'm getting an "ERROR" when trying to post this.

Guys, I have not experienced this myself at all, and server logs show no unusual errors.

Next time one of you gets this error, please take a screenshot and send it to admin@forum.studebakerdriversclub.com so I can pursue this further.

Happened to me both this morning and just now. Repeated attempts over an hour or so produced the same result. Really unusable during those time periods.
