  • What happened to the "Edit" feature on Tech Forum posts?

    Hi,
been quite a while since I've done much posting on the Tech Forum and I was going to edit my post, when I realized there WAS not edit button?
Is there a new way to edit? Or has that option been removed for some reason??
Or maybe I'm being blind. It's late and I'm frustated (with my car project)
    Thanks

This is & have been discussed for a while now in other posts, we all(?) want it back but Craig don't want, in short terms.

The Admins have disabled the edit function. Apparently there were people using the edit function for evil purposes, although no one is sure quite what they were doing with it. Another case of the few screwing up everything for everyone else.

Time to add it back in and monitor its use.

Don and I are a crew of two. We do not have the time to monitor every post, every day, 24 hours a day, sorry.

Sometimes when something causes trouble, you just have to make the trouble stop.

Thanks guys. I didn’t know. The “ShowBiz Kid” has been patient and kind to many a “dumb” (everything is a first time for 1950s cars for me!!) question over the last 13 years, so I’ll cut him some slack and say he must have some good reasons, whether I understand them or not. (Here’s hoping it comes back eventually though!
