    what determines the catagory you are placed in ie hawk ,commander etc as a member?

    As far as I know, it depends on the number of posts you make on the forum. I don't know what number you make to have your category change. I am sure some the long time members can tell what the threshold to change.

      All I can tell you is, it does Not get any Higher than "Golden Hawk" at 33,029 !
      That's unless they Set the "Avanti" Goal at 100,000 !

      But, even at ONE, you won't be a "Scotsman" !!

        As noted above, it is based on the number of posts. This listing below summarizes the levels and the number of posts associated with each.

        0-29 Champion
        30-99 Commander
        100-499 Speedster
        500-4999 President
        5000-9999 Silver Hawk
        10,000 + Golden Hawk
