Your first "click here" goes to an ELO video. Good though.Originally posted by showbizkid View PostHow to post videos - click here.

Every time I try and follow theses procedures, a tab comes up and says: You are not allowed to post videos with MOV attached to them. What is MOV ? And is this because of the way it was done on a phone? Can anyone tell me how to move this video to another format that doesn't have MOV attached to it? Maybe MOV is movie ?

MOV is an Apple movie file extension.Originally posted by Flashback View PostEvery time I try and follow theses procedures, a tab comes up and says: You are not allowed to post videos with MOV attached to them. The video you want to attach has to be on the internet...generally in a service like YouTube. If it is a movie you took and is just on your phone (or your computer) then no go. Load it to YouTube first then link to it there. I don't think this is a change from the old software. A forum really can't afford the bandwidth to host videos.Dick Steinkamp

Now I understand the problem. Yes, Dick is correct - you can only link to video hosted elsewhere on the Internet, such as YouTube or Vimeo; you cannot upload video files to the Forum’s servers. They are very large files and we do not have the storage space or the server bandwidth to host them here.
