  • A reminder about courtesy, politics and acceptable behavior on the Forum

A recent discussion that went high and right in an unexpected manner prompts me to remind all users that this Forum, a free services of the Studebaker Drivers Club International, Inc., has a Code of Conduct that is part of our posted Terms Of Service (I encourage everyone to refresh themselves by reading that post).

Some things to remember when posting here:
    1. No Arguing. You may not agree with everything you read. This does not mean that you must voice your disagreement and begin an argument.
    2. No Politics. This is an old car forum. This is our mission and should be the primary topic of our conversations. Political discussions are not allowed.
    3. No Religion. Same goes for discussions of religious beliefs - this is not the place for these kinds of topics.
    4. Be Civil. If you want people to treat you nicely, treat them nicely first. No insults, jabs or acidic sarcasm towards others, please. Do not verbally attack others.
    5. Report Violations. If you see a post that runs afoul of the above list, do not engage the poster. It is not your job to correct others. Your only acceptable action is to click the "FLAG" icon at the bottom of the post and report it. Your moderators will take action, if action is merited.
Repeated violations of our code of conduct will be dealt with by censure, suspension, or ban, at this Administrator's discretion. I have the big hammer; I don't like using it - but I do use it when needed.
